Honda Insight Chassis
Honda engineers designed a new compact, lightweight chassis for the Insight
that has the following features:
- 4-wheel suspension system uses front struts and a twist-beam rear
suspension
- Forged-aluminum front- and rear-suspension arms, front brake calipers and
rear brake drums help save weight
- Low-rolling-resistance all-season tires help conserve energy while
delivering high levels of comfort and stability
- Electric power steering system is simpler, more compact and more efficient
than a conventional hydraulic system.
